Episode #040 How to Live into the Journey with Guest Nicola Tonsager
Join the Midlife Unlimited® conversation by sending Kate a text
Choices. How often do you find yourself spiraling round in circles when trying to make a choice? Making excuses to yourself? Waiting for that certainty that will never come? Procrastinating because you are unclear of your destination? Unsure of what you really want and need.
If you’re a Gen X woman struggling to decide just which of the choices you are facing is the right choice for you right now, then this is the episode for you.
Join your host Kate Porter The Midlife Metamorphosis Coach® and her guest Founder of Soul Signatures® and host of the Being Soul Confident Podcast Nicola Tonsager for Episode 040 as they talk about How to Live into the Journey as a Midlife Woman.
When it comes to walking our path, all too often we become fixated on what we think is the destination we yearn for and need, but at the same time we are unwilling to live into and commit to the journey to get there… and the choices this entails.
Nicola shares her metamorphosis journey from making a “simple decision” to “choose me” when she turned 50.
But, as the pair explore in this episode, simple does not mean easy!
And once we have made that decision, following through on it can be even harder as we live into that choice and bring it to life - step by step of our journey.
Kate and Nicola discuss ditching the shoulds and societal restraints so that we can live more freely and fully and be ourselves in our Second Spring and beyond.
And Nicola explains how Soul Signatures® are the energy of soul that’s part of us, and she shares her insights for how we can use them as a tool to help us accept all of who we are.

How often do you find yourself spiralling round in circles when trying to make a choice, making excuses to yourself, waiting for that certainty that will never come, procrastinating because you're unclear of your destination, unsure of what you really want and need? If you're struggling to decide just which of the choices you're facing is the right choice for you right now, then this is the episode for you. Because I'm delighted to be joined by my guest today, Nicola Tonsaga, founder of Soul Signatures and host of the Being Soul Confident podcast, to talk about how to live into the journey As a midlife woman. So welcome, Nicola. It's fabulous to have you here.
SPEAKER_00:Thank you so much, Kate. An
SPEAKER_01:absolute joy to be with you. Really is. I like that. I like that. Now, you were the obvious choice of guest to join me on Midlife Unlimited when we're talking about choices. Because when it comes to walking our path, you're an advocate of it's not about choosing the best option. It's about choosing the only option. And you speak from experience with that, don't you? That isn't just you plucking some witty phrase out of midair. You talk from the heart.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, absolutely. And I think, you know, within all of the choices that we can sometimes have within life, there is one that we know and that we feel to be true. And that's the one that we feel right in deep within us. And it's The mind might talk us out of making that choice. But inherently, I think when we're facing decisions, when we're choosing about changes in direction, we always know, always know which way to go. It's just that it might be scary.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, absolutely. And scary is a big thing. And it's a very real thing, isn't it? We're going to be talking so much. I'm delighted that later on you're going to be sharing your top tips and tips insights for living into the journey. Because like me, you're all about the journey and not just the destination, aren't you? And when we were chatting before, because I do like a brainstorm before, you use this wonderful analogy of so often we choose the goal and we aim our arrow, but we're not willing to live into it. and commit to the journey to get there. And there they are. That's the important bit, isn't it? And we can get so carried away on focusing about smart goals and this and measuring and our success. And even when it comes down to how much we're earning or whatever our driving factor might be. But we forget the actual steps we need to take to get there, don't we?
SPEAKER_00:We do, 100%. And I think, you know, we can all have a wide range of different goals for different reasons. And we can have places we want to get to within life. We can want places that we want to get to within relationships, within ourselves. Yeah. When we're aiming for something, generally that means we are not yet the person that is able to really hold that, that is able to get to that. So that journey of really becoming the person, unfolding into who we are and really living into the journey that it takes to get there is actually essential to get there. And I think for so many people, we want to skip those bits and we want to get to the destination. And if we do that, very often we can't hold it. It's not right for us. We don't become able to really embody that in the way that we want to. So, yeah, it's totally about who we become and how we live into the journey and what that teaches us about ourselves.
SPEAKER_01:And you just used one of my favourite words there. I think they're one of the most powerful three-letter words ever. And that's yet. Because by adding that, we can turn can'ts into cans and we can open up exactly what are these steps we need to take, not necessarily figuring out the right order straight away, because what is it? I'm playing all right notes, but not necessarily in the right order. But there is room to shake things up along the way. There is room to realise, actually... probably not the right choice just then, but I can change direction. We're not on a straight road going one way, are we? It's all about being flexible and being, listening as well, listening to what we want and need, because that can change along the way, can't it?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, absolutely. And I think for all of us, and certainly for me, as I have aimed and wanted to walk in a particular direction, the things that I've learned about myself the strengths, sometimes the weaknesses, the vulnerabilities, the courage I've had to find within myself to do certain things, that opens up a different potential. And I think when we're setting a goal or we're setting a vision or we're really thinking about what we would like from life or what we would like to contribute to life and how we do that, we're coming from the potential that's open to us based on who we are right now. And as we journey forward, we open up different opportunities and different Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01:I'm glad you agree with me. Now, I mentioned at the very beginning that you were the obvious choice to talk about choices. And if you will, I'd love you to share more about your story, because four years ago, I won't give too much away, but four years ago, But four years ago, you were faced with choices and you had a bit of a realisation, didn't you, when it came to the decisions facing you?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I think like most people, I was in a place within my life where I had conformed. To a certain degree. You know, I'd had a level of freedom. I was running some spiritual work, but I had really conformed. I had, I guess, lived the life that we tend to think that we should live. And there were lots of things that came together all at one particular point in time. But I hit 50. and I was also I was also going through menopause and I was really struggling with menopause my mum didn't have any symptoms at all and I seemed to have everything under the sun and it really yeah I mean it was really it was really not what I was expecting so I had been going through lots of changes I think within myself emotionally how I connected with myself how I understood myself but I also I reached 50 and I was expecting it to be a big thing it was it was literally it was like oh well it's just another age but when I actually got there it wasn't and I think just because of things that had been or felt like they were spiraling within me due to going through menopause I just I had to this point where I didn't know I couldn't carry on the way I was I didn't want to life didn't feel right I didn't feel right but And I had this epiphany, if you like, where I just realized that I had lived more of my life than I had ahead of me. And we don't know how long we're gonna get. We don't know what's around the corner. And I realized that I either really lived for me and made the choice that was right for me and not for everybody else, or I might never have the opportunity again. And so I quit my job and I jumped full-time into my business and I'd had that call before and I had ignored it and I had- Oh, really? Yeah, I had and I had ignored it because I was fitting in, I think, with my partner, with other family members, really trying to make life work for all of us. And there comes a point where- obviously you want to make life work for everybody, but predominantly it has to work for you because if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for anybody else. Um, And I just realized that I was at the stage where I couldn't go on the way I was. And there was only one choice. And that one choice was to really live the way I wanted to, and to really allow myself to find my place within my purpose and what I wanted to bring to the world. And that was the only choice. And so I just, I made the jump without thinking about it, without planning, not looking at, well, actually, okay, in a A few in a couple of years time when I've got a little bit more financial resource, I'll do this. I just literally I made the decision and I jumped. I
SPEAKER_01:love that because when I first heard you say the phrase, I choose me, I immediately envisioned a wham T-shirt, you know, choose love. I think you should do choose me, choose me. As you said, it was far more. Obviously, we're both passionate about self-care. And I'm delighted that it is something that's becoming more talked about now. And it is, you know, you see articles here, there and everywhere about it, which is great. A lot of things that are being overused, I go, oh, like the word authentic. It's such a shame that that's really lost its meaning to a certain extent. But self-care, people can keep talking about that as long as they like. That's so important. But as you say, this whole idea that you chose you was far deeper, wasn't it? Far deeper than just self-care. As you mentioned, it was about your personal purpose it was about living into and realizing that this journey that you're on there is there isn't room to waste a moment is there
SPEAKER_00:there isn't and I think you know So many people, and I was one of them, when I get to this stage, when I have that, when this feels secure, when my partner's in a great place, when life is fitting into this particular box, then I will do this. And I'd had this prod before, and I knew, but I was scared. I was scared of what it would mean. I was scared of what it would change. And I was scared of the things that I didn't know. But when you make a choice or you make decisions that somehow don't serve you, because of... the influence sometimes of the people but also the influence of your own fears and your own vulnerabilities you get to a point where you start to be depleted and you get to a point where you're not really able to really look after yourself in the way you want to because the resilience and that kind of inner fire isn't there and you're not really able to support the people around you in the way you want to either because actually you start to become a little bit worn down because what is really lighting you up is not lighting you up because you're not letting it light you up and so you do get to that point where you know it sounds selfish to say I choose me but actually in choosing you you do also then choose other people as well, because when you are full, when you are lit up, when you are in an abundant space within yourself, how you support other people, what you bring to other people, what you bring to life, what you bring to how you serve comes from an entirely different place. And it comes from a place that is filled with who you are, not filled with a depletion of who you are.
SPEAKER_01:That is so true. And also by choosing the, well, we'll talk about simple and easy in a minute, but by choosing to settle, by choosing not to ruffle feathers, what is a danger is the whole resentment thing can creep in. and you can start your interior dialogue can start down the blame route of oh god if it wasn't for them I could be doing this and you start to build these excuses of why you haven't followed your heart and blame other people and that can lead to fractured relationships it can lead to oh my goodness guilt and anger and all sorts can come out of it can't it
SPEAKER_00:yeah totally and it's and it's it's It's because you're not living into who you really are and the choices that are actually trying to make themselves known to you. And I do believe that, you know, when something is really for us, when there's a real call from within us, there are choices that come for you. It's not a choice that you're making. It's choices that come calling because they are the choice. They are the next step. And if you don't take them... It becomes sometimes easier, doesn't it, to actually look at the external circumstances and reasons to why you can't, as opposed to really looking at the true reason, which is we're scared. We don't want to face the change that that will bring. We don't want to have that difficult conversation that maybe somebody else isn't going to agree with. But we're saying this is what I want to do. So we're scared of actually facing what's really within us. to make that step and to change to make that choice
SPEAKER_01:yeah no because i'm going to steal your line here because it flows beautifully from that simple wasn't easy when you made that step was it no it wasn't just because something's simple in actual fact it can be messy it can be complicated it can be hard simple can be hard can't it it
SPEAKER_00:can and simple is simple is simple so the decision is simple but what follows it isn't always easy and I think we can get we can get complacent sometimes with with wanting life to be easier with wanting to things to be simpler and things don't have to be complicated we make them complicated but The choice can be simple, but the steps that follow it aren't. And I always say you can be be gentle with yourself rather than easy with yourself, because gentle says I'm going to do what I need to do. And maybe it might be a bit slower than I want, but I'm going to do it and I'm just going to take it at a more gentle pace in a more gentle way. Easy says sometimes I'm going to take the easy option. I'm going to make it easier. And that isn't always the thing that gets you to where you need to be and to where you want to be.
SPEAKER_01:I love that. And I'd love to talk now more about soul signatures because you've created such a beautiful thing, for want of a better word. And I love following, and obviously we're friends, and I love following all your posts as well because the way you interact and treat the women that you work with is beautiful. It really is. Thank you. Obviously, you said this wasn't a simple thing. thing to do. It's been quite complex. But it wasn't something that suddenly came to you. This goes back years, doesn't it? Your links with angelic signatures.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I mean, I've always... inherently been a channel so I've always received channeling I've always received information I've always received guidance I've spent a lot of my I guess my holistic years training in a variety of different modalities from from crystals to working with angels to working with mediumship and everything in between so I've always had that connection with energy and it's always been part of my life in my life you know I've I've held jobs I've kind of had a normal life as well well as kind of working spiritually as well. But I've always had a channel. And when I was given angelic signatures, probably about 20 years ago now, I knew exactly what they were. I knew how to bring them forward. There was no hesitation. There was no doubt. And when something is channeled through you that's absolute truth, there is no doubt. But I was very green about how to bring them forward. And to be honest, I didn't I didn't know how to make the most of bringing them forward. So when I was given soul signatures a few years ago, I knew exactly what they were. I knew what they did. I knew I had to bring them forward. And I was in a different stage within my life. I had a lot more confidence in who I was, which is also something I think that we build and that grows as we go through life. And that's also a part of the reason that I jumped– ship from from normal life if you like into working full-time for myself is because I knew that I had these and this was a time to take everything forward because what I didn't want to do and what I wasn't willing to let myself do was not bring them forward with full justice. and there are certain things as you know that you feel really passionate about that you know you have to commit to fully um it isn't a choice it is a full body i know i have to do this and then when you commit to that circumstances conspire not always in the way that you want them to but they conspire to bring everything together and make things happen um but that channel has always been has always been clear um i feel very blessed to work in the way that i do um but i also have developed a lot of trust and I trust myself in a way that allows me to surrender to the energy that works through me and not without it.
SPEAKER_01:So for those listeners who are unfamiliar with soul signatures, and I must admit, until I came into your world, I was really, could you just explain that? Briefly, or it doesn't have to be that brief, could you explain what we're talking about here? Because obviously people are going to be listening thinking I'd like to find out more and we'll give them your contact details later on as well. But for those of us that haven't been involved with Soul Signatures and with the energies that you work with, what are we talking about?
SPEAKER_00:So with Soul Signatures, they are a channeled representation of the energy of soul. So it's really that simple. So that divine energy that's inherently part of every single one of us on the planet. And they are a way to connect into that energy that is both energetic. So as you work with the signatures, you do open energetically, but also practical. So they really bridge that gap between energetic, but also allowing us to have the mind on board. And Unlike perhaps human design, which tells us how we're designed to be, soul signatures are really an approach to living life. So the signatures, there are 11 signatures, you have all of them within you. You'll have some that are more influential and they form part of a soul signatures profile, but essentially you'll work with all 11 signatures. And as they're active within you, they tell you and they guide you to the growth, the learning, the challenge, the development that you're actually being asked to embody, that you're actually being asked to lean into so that you can prevent restriction within your energy so that you can live a little bit more fully, more freely as who you are. So they want you to move past limiting beliefs. They want you to move past conditioning. They want you to move past the layers and the masks that we wear, because when we are living as fully and as freely as we can, that energy of soul that's part of us has the opportunity to live more fully through us and to actually be be here actualizing, emanating within this human experience. And I believe that that is what changes life and that's what will change the world when we're not living from the reality the limitation of who we're told to be or how we should be or the restrictions and the restraints that society puts on us when we're actually living more fully more freely from actually who we are then we radiate that energy of soul that's present within us and it touches people it influences them it impacts them without us doing anything other than being ourselves because I
SPEAKER_01:say I'm all about nurturing self-discovery, self-acceptance, because to me, self-acceptance, put my teeth in, it lies at the root of self-love. And in our quest to actually love ourselves inside and out, in our perfection as we are. Self-acceptance is a huge part of that because, you know, underpins self-worth, fear of judgment. And it sounds like these are beautiful tools for helping to nurture self-acceptance.
SPEAKER_00:They are. And, you know, we're not... we're not singular we're not pure light you know we all have aspects within us that we don't like perhaps as much as we we might other other areas of who we are we all have those moments where we're not the best person in the world where we're not the greatest human in the world you know and that doesn't make us any less whole it doesn't make us any less loved and it doesn't make us any less than we are and the ability to really lean into accept all of ourselves Mm-hmm. discover things within you that you need to forgive you need to accept you need to hold you need to nurture that then enable you to really move into growth to really expand your awareness your understanding of who you are and to bring that to life in a way that you live because that's also important we're here to live life we're really here to live into the journey we're not here to watch it
SPEAKER_01:No, no. I'm all for living it. I'm all for living it. Now, sorry, correct me if I'm wrong, but you said there are 12 signatures, is that right? 11 signatures. 11. So do we experience each of them? Do they vary? How does it work? Are there cards involved? How do you help people learn? identify and work with these signatures
SPEAKER_00:so they are cards they originally came into form in in a card deck that's how I originally brought them into being but they are that's just a visual representation so they are they're energetic they're within your energy field and it's almost like if you imagine that you've got if you imagine that you've got dials within you and sometimes the dials are turned up and sometimes the dials are turned down and if you imagine each of the 11 signatures like that they will all be working with you in a slightly different way at a different point in time and depending on the signatures that are really present and really active within you that can help you understand what you're really being asked to lean into the areas of growth that you're being asked to look at so for instance if the devotion signature were really active for you you'd be really asked to look at how you master who you are how you master those things that step you back rather than step you forward you'd be asked to really stand in your ability to lead yourself and really look at what self-leadership is for you so that you can really bring that energy into how you live life and how you create the life that you want to create and how you start to really embody that ability to be the driver of your car and not the passenger.
SPEAKER_01:So each signature has got different traits and strengths attached to it would that be correct to say?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, each signature's got an energetic quality to it, but then they all have qualities, they all have activations, and they all have a challenge. And they are things that we can recognize practically. So, for instance, with a devotion signature, its energy is about really being devoted to life, to being devoted to you, to being in devotion to who you are. But to do that, you need to master. So mastery is an aspect of it. You need to master those things that hold you back from doing that. you really need to be willing to lead your life. And so find that leadership within you that helps you step forward. And integrity is also a quality. So it really wants you to be true to who you are and to really stand in the integrity of who you are. And so it guides you through challenges generally for signatures active you will find that life brings certain situations or challenges to you to enable you to really look at that particular area of life and that's where they're really useful as an approach for growth because where we have lots of challenges and we think What is this doing? Why is this happening at the moment? The signature that's active for you will tell you exactly why that situation is occurring and why you're being asked to grow and how you're being asked to learn through that experience. Yep. So they're an approach for life.
SPEAKER_01:I'm loving this. I'm loving this. That leads us beautifully into your podcast. top tips and insights really for living into the journey, which is obviously the theme of our episode. And the first tip lesson was again, reiterating, like you said earlier, simple doesn't mean easy. So how, how would working with the soul signatures support you through that?
SPEAKER_00:So when we, when we look at simple isn't easy and we can, we can, The decisions that we make, the choices that we make, they actually are really simple because we decide or we don't.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:But it's the follow through. And whenever we are making a decision about something, wherever we're choosing to really live into something, to change direction, whatever that choice or decision might be, we then have to become the person that can hold that, that can become that, that can actually bring that into being. And so when that happens, the signatures that are working with you will bring you the experiences that help you to embody the growth that you need to embody. So it might be that they encourage you to speak up and use your voice in a different way. It might be that they encourage you to stand up for justice or to stand up for something that you haven't really thought about standing up for before. So it's that aspect of. The choice, the decision can be relatively simple, but the path isn't necessarily easy. But understanding the challenges on that path can help us to meet those challenges with more grace.
SPEAKER_01:No, absolutely. Absolutely. I love that. This journey, it just all comes back to that, doesn't it? It does. And then leading into Beautifully Then, they're helping us nurture our talents and gifts as part of that, aren't they?
SPEAKER_00:They are 100%. You know, our talents and our gifts are, some of them are inherent within us and some of them are things that we learn, but we all have something beautiful and something unique that we bring to the world. We need to trust ourselves with who we are and we need to trust ourselves with the talent that we have and with the gifts that we're actually bringing forward. And recognizing why you're being asked to grow recognizing why a challenge is occurring recognizing actually why the path is shifted and why suddenly instead of going in this direction you're going in that direction understanding that really helps to take you back into you rather than being the external of worrying about what is happening and why it's happening and when we're really connected with who we are the ability to recognize the talents and the gifts we bring to the world becomes much easier. It becomes much more natural to recognise what those are. And when that happens, it becomes much more natural to start to bring those forward and really allow ourselves to trust ourselves within that.
SPEAKER_01:No, absolutely. And again, that leads beautifully into your third point, because it's all about questioning, isn't it? And sometimes the barriers can come up, that kind of self-protection and why is this happening? But As you said, you never know where a simple decision will take you. And if we don't take that step, we'll never know, will we? The moment will have passed. And we're never going to get certainty. The only time we ever get certainty is with hindsight. I don't want to be sitting in that rocking chair when I'm 105 saying, I wish I'd done that. I wish I'd had the guts to do that. I wish I hadn't let someone else's you won't be able to do that hold me back I wish I hadn't let myself hold me back
SPEAKER_00:yeah but it's the ability to make a decision is the starting point and we never know where a single decision is going to take us but if we don't take it and if we don't make that decision we will never find out and I don't believe that we are here to regret life. I believe we're here to live life. And I believe that in taking the step, we discover the resourcefulness within us. We discover and we have the ability to learn what we need to learn or to discover what we need to discover. And the mind is a wonderfully supportive thing, but it can also be a really wonderfully limiting thing. And that ability to really tune into who we are and really feel what the next step is, even if it isn't logical, and then take that step, take that simple, single decision and But then trust that whatever comes forward, we will be able to navigate the path because we always have. You and I both here made numerous decisions throughout our life and we have always found a way. And maybe the path is twisted and it's curved and there are all sorts of different things that have arisen, but we've always managed to navigate it. So why would the next step be any different? Why would we not be able to navigate the next step?
SPEAKER_01:I love that. I love that. And I know there are going to be so many people listening that will want to find out more who maybe have seen your posts or have kind of thought, oh, I don't I must reach out. So in a little while, not just yet, because you've got some more choices of your own to be making now. They might, do you like my little segue then? But segue? Yes, put my teeth in again. But we will be giving your contact details in a minute. But yes, choices. You are now faced with the same three choices, Nicola, that I pose to each of my fabulous female guests. And you're not going to escape. And I say, the answers may not be simple. And You don't have to have necessarily one because the last couple of episodes, the one answer has actually become another answer as well. So if you feel the need to embellish your answers, just go for it. But the first question is, what is your midlife anthem? The piece of music or song or sound that lights you up when you hear it.
SPEAKER_00:That is actually really simple. It is Courage to Change by Sia. So first of all, because it does take courage to change. And I think that's so important. So it always lifts and inspires me. But there's also in the chorus, if that's still a thing within songs nowadays, in the chorus, there's a phrase that goes something along the lines of, you're not on your own. I promise standing together, we can do anything. And I really feel that that is so speaking to us so it's saying you're not alone I've got you we are part of that energetic divine connected network and even if life sometimes we are traveling that part of the journey on our own we are never actually alone and that song always reminds me of that so yeah that is absolutely absolutely my anthem
SPEAKER_01:yeah Oh, I've got goosebumps. I do like a goosebump. Oh, now I want to know question two. What is your midlife mantra? The phrase that you live your midlife by?
SPEAKER_00:My midlife mantra is I choose to see and live the miracle. And I think there is so much within life that we can look at as not working, as wrong, as troubled. And yet. We're here breathing. The sun is shining. Sometimes it's raining. The birds are tweeting. You know, we have an absolutely blessed life and we can choose to see the miracle or we can choose not to. And I know my life has been infinitely better since I've chosen to see and live the miracle.
SPEAKER_01:It's all about choices again, isn't it? It is.
SPEAKER_00:But it is. Choice is so powerful. And I think sometimes we think we don't have choice and we do. And even if that choice is only in perspective and even if that choice is only in how we choose to respond rather than reacting, we have so much choice. We really do.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, right. Third and final question for now. What is is or would be the title of your autobiography
SPEAKER_00:so that would be dead people made me live and that comes from working so i worked for 12 or so years as a medium i taught mediumship i taught trance mediumship and one of the key things always came through when i worked with contacts was live life don't regret the things that you didn't do live life so that would absolutely be dead people made me live yeah and I think it's it's you know we never know as we've said as we've alluded to before Kate we never know exactly what's around the corner and life is for living whichever way we can live it it's for living
SPEAKER_01:yeah absolutely no absolutely I don't do regrets either I think it's a it's a waste of the precious time that we do have yeah so uh Ooh, I like that. I like that I want to read that when's it coming out I might have to write it you know I think you should yeah we don't do should I think you will well as I said I'm sure the fabulous women listening and we do get men as well will be wanting to get in contact with you so obviously your contact details are in the show notes for our episode that's available wherever you listen to your podcast and you have your guest profile on the midlife unlimited podcast website and But for the benefit of listeners, could you just talk us through your website, your social contacts, contacts, is that the right word? Yeah, we'll go with it. And how people can connect with you.
SPEAKER_00:So the absolute easiest way to connect with me is through Facebook. That is the platform I use the most. And I think it's, you know, it's my age bracket that are on there. So whilst I love Instagram and I enjoy that, it's Facebook is the main way to contact me. How I work and the work that I do in the office I have are generally on my website. So you can look at the work I do with Soul Signatures and see how I teach them and the profiles on there, but essentially from a contact perspective. And I would love to connect with you if you're listening. So, yeah, come and connect with me on Facebook. And
SPEAKER_01:you're on there just as your name, aren't you? I am. Can you spell your surname, please?
SPEAKER_00:Yes, I can. So it's Norwegian and it's T-O-N-S-A-N. G-E-R, Tonsaga. So I'm sure that's actually not quite how it's pronounced in Norway. But my dad, who was Norwegian, lived in the US when I met him. So it's always been Tonsaga for me. I'm sure it's the O has a slightly different pronunciation if you're actually in Norway.
SPEAKER_01:I'm surprised it hasn't got accents because they do like
SPEAKER_00:an accent. It's got a line through it, but I'm the anglicised version of Norwegian.
SPEAKER_01:And what's your website as well?
SPEAKER_00:it's nicolatonsaga.co.uk really straightforward simple perfect and easy
