Alexandra Johnson
I’m Alexandra Johnson, founder of The Movement Hacking Project and I believe movement is freedom.
I’m a physio, endurance athlete and speaker but my work goes beyond the standard conversation around injury, rehab and exercise. I help people understand what their body is actually doing, what’s influencing it and what needs to change so they can keep doing the things they love through life, sport and ageing.
A lot of my work comes from both professional and lived experience. I was born with a rare vascular condition affecting my left leg, and I’ve spent most of my life being told what my body would or wouldn’t be capable of.
That’s probably why I’m so interested in the stories people carry about their body, especially as they get older, and how those stories can start changing what they believe is possible.
Through The Movement Hacking Project, I help people stop underestimating their body and rebuild trust in what it can still do.
